Mystic Merlins Cave of Dreams

My title for this blog is,  "Mystic Merlin's Cave of Dreams". Why?
Well, for many reasons, one of course being a life long fascination with Camelot and Merlin. As a kid I remember someone reading about how Merlin came through a tree and spoke to these two modern day kids. I already had a great love for trees and was often to be found hanging upside down from one, so the thought that an ancient wizard could talk through a tree excited my imagination.  I often thought that if Merlin was sealed up in a cave somewhere, as the legend goes, that he could still find ways to get out, and why not through the dream world or a Fairy dimension, since some theororize that he may have been half Tuatha De Dannon? Since so much of magic involves the co-operation of Nature Spirits, it makes sense that he could travel in other dimensions like Shamans of all cultures have done for centuries, and accessing Mother Earth's power through caves is a common path.
Anyway, I did in fact have two dreams in my life wherein "Merlin" came to visit me and taught me some basic Laws or Principles of Nature and Magic. I have also had other "cave" dreams, besides the Atlantis ones,  in which  I seem to come into contact with the power of Mother Earth. So it makes sense to me that a cave is an access point for tuning in to the power of Nature/Mother Earth, maybe even our own collective Human power and knowledge that has been collected and ammassed for Milenia. If we look at all the aboriginal/indiginous societies and so called primitive man, we find cave drawings and paintings and ceremonies taking place there, the world over. Why? Because they were in much closer connection with the Earth. They understood the symbiotic relationship that the Earth and Humanity have and their lives often depended on having a harmonious relationship with a place, with Nature herself. That connection is still there, even if we in this modern technological age have forgotten. We can re-remember. Nature is always calling to us, to remember. If we pay attention, that relationship can be re-established and healed and we will be blessed beyond measure.
